Pontiac’s M1 Concourse hosts first ever running event

Orangetheory Fitness held a charity running event at Pontiac’s M1 Concourse on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017—the first ever running event held at the new performance track.

Run the Raceway featured a 5K and 10K runnin competition as well as a one-mile family fun run, with a portion of the proceeds going towards GenYOUth, a health and wellness nonprofit best known for its in-school wellness program, Fuel Up to Play 60, a partnership with the NFL and the National Dairy Council to encourage healthier lifestyles in school-age children.

The event also featured a kids zone, live music, local food trucks and post-race yoga, according to organizers.
